That’s why, heading into Thursday night, we’ve made some wild predictions.

Week 7 Predictions for the Cleveland Browns
4. Case Keenum comes out swinging with two touchdown passes.
Keenum has struggled the previous two seasons, but he did lead the Minnesota Vikings to an 11-3 record in 14 games started in 2017. He aimed for a TD-INT ratio of more than 3-1, demonstrating that he can lead a team to victory as long as he had adequate weapons. With one of the deepest receiver rooms in the NFL and a creative schemer in Kevin Stefanski, the Browns have just that. Keenum will start the game with two touchdown drives against a Denver defense that was recently thrashed by Derek Carr and the Raiders.
3. Myles Garrett has a strong showing with numerous sacks.
Garrett is perhaps the league’s most physically intimidating player, and he seems to have put it all together this season. With eight sacks, he leads the NFL and has only had one game without a sack. Teddy Bridgewater and the Broncos’ offensive line recently let up three sacks to Maxx Crosby (for a total of five), indicating that they’re vulnerable to a single outstanding rusher. Myles Garrett and this superb defense are set for a field day.
2. D’Ernest Johnson has a 100-yard rush.
Johnson has a limited track record, but when given the chance, he can be a serious force in the backfield. Last season, when he was forced to fill a key role in a game against the Cowboys, he scorched them for 95 yards on just 13 attempts. He’ll slice and dice his way to a massive 100-yard effort now that he’ll be given a full workload behind one of the league’s finest offensive lines.
1. Despite injuries, Cleveland pulls off a big victory.
The Browns are three-point favorites according to the current odds, but the Broncos might easily win this game owing to their superior health and depth. However, this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for Case Keenum to show the league that he deserves at least a backup job, and he’ll lead the Browns to a huge point total thanks to his outstanding defense.
