After handing himself in to the Los Angeles Police Department, rapper Tyga was jailed on felony domestic abuse allegations.
The 31-year-old singer, whose actual name is Micheal Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, surrendered to police on Monday morning following an alleged fight with ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson at his $12.8 million Bel-Air home.
‘Hollywood Div booked Michael Stevenson for felony domestic violence,’ according to a tweet from the LAPD’s official account (273.5 A PC). The event happened in Hollywood on December 21st.’
According to internet records, the rapper’s bail was set at $50,000 (£36,782).
When she arrived at his mansion’screaming in the middle of the night,’ the hitmaker and the 22-year-old model reportedly got into a violent argument.
Swanson says that during an altercation, ‘Tyga placed his hands on her,’ according to TMZ.

Following the altercation, the fashion designer phoned her mother to come pick her up before calling the cops.
Swanson took to Instagram on Monday to express her displeasure, posting photos of her claimed injuries.
‘@tmz ‘I’ve been mistreated emotionally, psychologically, and physically, and I’m not going to hide it longer,’ she said with a photo of bruising swelling around her eye.

The social media celebrity also posted a snapshot of text conversations that seemed to refute allegations that she had shown there unexpectedly.
‘@tmz I didn’t come up’screaming’ or uninvited,’ she said, claiming that when she attempted to leave, he physically attacked her and refused to let her go for hours.’
‘I’m so humiliated and sorry it had to come to this, but I have to stand up for myself,’ Swanson said beside another photo of her claimed injuries.
